ABOUT ALISON

I have delighted in serving families and small business owners with their tax and accounting needs since I was a child learning beside my mother, a CPA in public practice.  I'm not sure which one of us was more excited when, after graduating from UNC-Charlotte, I went to work for Deloitte & Touche in San Francisco on their audit team.  A front row seat to the implosion of the dot com bubble convinced me that small business was the backbone of the American economy.  When my husband and I moved back to North Carolina in 2003, I set to work quickly to open my own practice servicing individuals and small business owners who had tax issues complex enough to need an accounting professional, but businesses still too small to warrant a full time staff person.  I have enjoyed helping a variety of businesses grow and flourish in the past 10 years, and I am eager to help you as well.
